Instructor: Mary Douglas Craft
Full course description
When parents are involved in child care, their children are more successful and confident. It is the job of the director and teachers to encourage and promote parental involvement. Parents need to feel welcomed to get involved and stay involved. This training will detail the importance of parental involvement and how teachers can increase parent participation. We will also address the importance of having a variety of experiences available for parents to choose from. Offering choices that are parent friendly, increases the opportunities for parents to participate in their child's school experience and feel connected to the early care experience.
